The Waterford Estates opened in 1969 and was extensively remodeled in 1993. Townhomes were constructed in 1999. The Waterford Manor assisted living was built in 2001. In 2016 The Waterford Estates joined the Transforming Age family of communities and officially became a not for profit organization.
